:dunce: Received this email yesterday from Jay. I would have thought everyone had learned the lesson about looking twice before you press "send." Anyways, the content suggest that reality will be further obfuscated by the marketing team. Used to be all Greek, now I guess Latin is in style.

I got the same one this morning... Thought I inadvertently selected some new made-up language.

LMAO....that's Lorum Ipsem. It's a 500 year old made up language (Closely resembles Latin but has no meaning) that is used in test the overall look of certain fonts on published pages. It is used in many applications that use a WYSIWYG editor, such as iWeb for mac. The boilerplate is odd, though. :-o :

It's certainly tongue in cheek, but in a cookie cutter sort of way. Looks like some sort of boilerplate filler.

Well would you look at that. Certainly an ambiguous description for a company that is supposed to be reaching out to potential customers for their client. I wonder why they outsource simple press and consumer releases. I would think that something like that could be handled in-house at MSSI, or the resort itself....oh well.

Yea, I got the same Lorem Ipsum email. Was going to post about it but had to hit the trails this morning and had no time  Still no explanation for the premature release of the spam blast.

This goes a long way in explaining the fluff and hyperbole that so often emanates from the Jay mouthpiece. Sometimes I think marketing departments write material that only other marketing departments can understand. A closed society I presume.

No apologies have been forthcoming. Then again I would not expect one from people who bill themselves as "almighty." Then again, they are operating at such a high plain of intellectualism, they have no clue that this even went out. Think I'll write them a trash-o-gram....

Why would they apologize....since all PR/Marketing firms are inherently self promoters, the fact that we have a tread about it means it probably was a rousing success.

I do think they dismiss too quickly violating one of the commandments, "thou shall not take the name of the lord in vain, especially to make money".
