HANCOCK, Massachusetts -- The Jeep Terrain Park Challenge competition will be held at Jiminy Peak on Saturday, January 27th. The event will be a slopestyle and will begin at 12 pm held in the Coyote Ridge Terrain Park. The top finishers in each category, male or female and skiers or snowboarders, will advance to the regional finals where they will have a chance to move on the national finals to be held in Sugar Bowl, CA. In 2006 Jiminy competitor, Veronica Kelly, went all the way to the national finals.
Registration for the event will be held 9 am - 11 am in Crane Lodge West on Saturday morning. Entry costs $37 including a lift ticket and $15 for season pass holders. Helmets are required and all competitors must sign a release form. Competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian permission.
