That poor girl. I hope she gets the justice she deserves.

It was all because she downloaded some illegal music. The answer to that is to take away her computer. Parenting fail! What an ass.

Unfortunately, nothing will happen to him as far as a criminal issue. It does seem that he will have to step down from his position as a Judge. She was a minor at the time, I read that the local statute of limitations for assault or whatever was 5 years, which has already passed. Plus, his defense, is that he was disciplining his daughter and, while obviously completely severe, over-the-top, etc. as it was, I think they'd have a hard time prosecuting him and proving that caused severe bodily harm or whatever the applicable standard is at this point, given the time limitations and the apparent lack of any medical evidence from back when it happened.

With that said, My personal opinion: I think they should castrate him.
