Spoke to my brother in law in Silverthrone CO today (in Summit County) who says they have received 3 feet of snow in the past week up at Loveland Pass. It's really messing up his golf game - !!

June 5th would be an early closing date for them if they have that much snow. Usually they have the upper mountain open until late June-early July?

I was thinking about taking my son to Timberline Lodge this summer, but they only have a 57" base. When I was there in May of 1999 they had a 203" base, and the first two stories of the lodge were still buried.
I've heard that they will only be skiing until early July this year??

Ski withdrawal depression.

Postings like the one about Keystone, and peeks at the Snowbird website have convinced me that I have only one remaining course of action. MOVE! My wife an I are putting our house here on Long Island up for sale in early spring 06. We need the next few months to "spruce" things up a bit to maximize our selling price. I have been skiing out in Utah for the last five years, and I think it is the best place for us to move to in terms of ski season length, multiple mountain access, (Imagine spending $2 - $3/day on gasoline instead of $30-$60/run on trips to upstate NY or NE!) airport convenience, (I have three adult kids who all ski and I know will visit.) large city cultural, culinary, and medical facilities, and opportunities for my wife to pursue her passion...(no not me) quilt design and construction. We will also save a ton on utilities, property taxes, car insurance, and a number of other living costs. Since we are both retired, we do not have to make a living to boot! SLC, here we come.

Stumbled upon this game in the Time for Tucks forums.

Set a fan up in your face to make it more realistic.

I like going on the training mode and straightlining it.

Hope this helps a little with the depresssion.

Thanks for the link, that'll help a little! :)
