I need to replace my keyboard. The "home" bumps on the F and J keys has worn just about complete off. I also have callouses that exacerbate the loss of tactile response.

Getting new key caps is not worth the effort.

Do you know of a keyboard with more pronounced "home" ridges?

I had the same problem at work. Replaced the keyboard there and all was fine once more.

If you look at this pic, the J key is worn down so far that the tactile response is nearly undetectable.

I'm looking at the ms ergo, since it splits the keyboard in half.

I just walk into my IT dept and say "hey, I need a new keyboard" and they hand me one.
