Lots of good brands. Boeri is what I use...the original. Ovo makes some attractive lids as well. Burton's "Red Line" makes a nice, cheap helmet that is appealing to many younger folks.

Boeri and Giro helmets for our family. My advice is to make sure everyone has a proper fitting helmet. Make sure you try the helmet with your goggles.

Helmets for Kids

As someone who has fitted all of my children with helmets, the most important thing is to find a helmet that fits the child's head comfortably yet snugly. Make sure you get a reputable brand. As others have already said, Boeri and Giro are good brands. We have also had the Burton's RED brand that TrailBoss mentioned and have had no complaints.

Hey, you have twins too? I have a set of those (boy & girl). Boeri, Ovo, and Giro are all quality manufacturers of helmuts. I guess where you could find the best deal of those three would be the way to go.
