Allruight, so we are heading up to Killington (from RI) for our first time. Since it's the end of the season and we are trying to save every last penny we were lpanning on heading back to the car for a quick lunch...Question is are there any parking lots that we should avoid and or favor?...We'd like to see as much of the mountain as possible, although it would appear the majority of our day will be at Bear Peak, thanks!

Park at bear... if it is too crowded just park at skyeship stage 2. Bring a Camping Grill and cook whatever you desire.

Bring some beers and remember to share. Also, it is imperative you blast the Grateful Dead from your car stereo!!

AND HAVE FUN!!!

Park at Bear, unless it's this weekend and you get there a little late. It'll probably be packed due to the US snowboarding GP.

DO NOT PARK AT BEAR THIS WEEKEND!!!!!! While today might be ok, it should be much more crowded than usual sat/sun because of the Gran Prix comp. OK though if you get there early.

Pretty much everywhere in the Killington Basin has very good car-lift access. In the main K-1 lot by the Gondola, off to the side by the snowdon quad, on the access road by superstar, or in vale lot accessing the rams head quad. Or even down on Route 4 at the skyeship Gondola. Rams Head is ok near the front of the lot. Snowshed is the furthest parking from the lift.

Hardest time to find parking is around 10am. You'll probably be stuck in Vale lot - boot up in the car and ski down to Ramshead, or through the tunnel to Snowshed. Good luck!
