Bristol Mtn in NY looking to hire minors.

Actually smart in letting kids know what opportunities exist by age group (assuming their parents read the local paper).

$ 15-20/hr PT work is probably more interesting if mom & dad are paying for everything else.

For local resorts not active in the J1 pool, actively targeting the 14-18 crowd is probably the next best thing to keep the doors open.

A minute from the Alta exit off the I-15!
Very standard practice at the smaller resorts to have 14-18yos as ski instructors or assistants. Don't think of it as a reaction to being unable to hire anyone. Doubt this is a new practice for Bristol.

Yeh, just interesting ... in 10 pages of similar job ads, Bristol was unique in publishing ages. Hope they get a lot of slots filled.

Attendants(16 & 17) can only push the stop and maybe slow buttons. An operator(18+) must be the one to start the lift back up and increase to full speed. They are useful for the top of the lift, but can't be left alone at the bottom.
