Local Ski Porn

There has been a lot of discussion here about various providers of Ski Porn. Not the least of which is Meathead Films. I think I have all the DVDs they have produced with the possible exception of Elevated and I enjoy them often. What I would really would like is to see them on the big screen. I know they have an extensive tour, but they don’t come to the Albany area. If this area can support three showings of the corporate Warren Miller offerings I think Meatheads “Ski the East” movies would be well attended. We have many colleges and a substantial skiing population. I think the only question is what would be the proper venue? Should it be a college auditorium, theater, big bar or even a relatively close ski area like Jiminy or Maple Ridge?

Colleges and Indy Theaters seem to be the prevailing locations. Bars are probably out since they prob have a big under 21 following.

OK let me expand on this. Would you attend a showing of the next Meathead film, if were to be shown in a 50 mile radius of the Albany area?
