Long Island Firewood

anyone have any good places to get it or have it delivered? I'm in Nassau (Locust Valley) usually only get 1/2 cord at a time for the fireplace/firepit....costs me $120 delivered, just wondering if there is anywhere else..thanks

This time of year is tough because it's pretty much peak demand.

Hit up craigslist under "free". All the damn "free" stuff seems to be on the island because there's not much in my part of CT. Oh well, I did get close to a cord of free pine on three scrounges in later summer.
