where its snowing
Conditions: Powder, increasing rapidly as the day went on.

Woke up to maybe 4" at the base, probably around 10/11 am was the sweet spot with finding the most untracked. Upper mountain had more snow, by the end of the day probably about 10-14" on top, but you could find more in wind-blown drifts. Wind was not a factor, with all lifts running.

Loon had established a great man-made base on 90% of the trails, so everything was pretty much wide open except for tree's, triple trouble, and big dipper. Angel Street -- trail of the day. Probably my best trip down Angel street in my life. Hit it at the right time with some untracked goodness left to just let it rip and get some perfect pow turns in....

We thought South Peak would be a bit less tracked out, I guess others did too.. Ripsaw ski'd(I was on a board today) pretty great though. better snow was under the east-basin Double-chair which doesnt run midweek (big dipper). We lapped Sunset, can't dog, angel/basin? street a bunch of times. Boss was great, nice manmade snowmaking whales were fun to launch off of... Upper flume was fantastic, some deeper snow, and wind filled in tracks nicely..

Tired, no pictures, get out there. They are reporting storm total 17, so my guess is that means a groomed out perfection of 14"+ a few more inches of fluff on top today!

Wish I could hit Cannon today!
