Beautiful Bluebird Spring ski day. Parked at South peak (pemi?) area which was virtually empty at 9 am. First run on Boom Run was bullet proof, chicken heads -- no good. Escaped to North peak, Sunrise was beautiful but rest of North Peak needed another hour. Flume was a rock hard sheet of ice. A few runs off of the Kanc quad where the snow had loosened up nicely killed the hour till we headed back to Upper and Lower Walking Boss which had gotten to just the right consistency. Made a bunch of runs there along with qute a few other folks who had figured out is was the place to be Flume still looked scketcy. Skied back to the tote road quad to get to South Mountain and headed down boom run which was almost unskiiable snow was incredibly grabby (even with a fresh coat of wax). Season has got to be about over for the south peak trails. Called it quits at that point and repaired to the deck for beers in the sun.
