Loon Mountain
High 20’s - Low 30's - Cloud Cover – Snowmaking in progress in the AM with Blue Sky & Sunshine in the Afternoon
30+ Trails Open with 7 Lifts Operating
Crowds limited with no significant lines… after lunch and for the rest of the day we skied right onto the East Basin Double and could nearly ski right on to the Kangamagus Quad, the North Peak Express, and the 7-Brothers chairs…
For the most part the trail conditions were fast New England Packed Powder…with the lack of natural snow lately, the mountain was making snow in the freezing hours of the morning and late afternoon…
Upper Walking Boss had great machine snow bumps which were so nice and the day’s best kept secret…the easterly edge of the Flume Trail was very good as well…Angel Street was scratchy…the remaining upper elevation trails that were were fun carving (especially with my new quiver’s)…
