LINCOLN, New Hampshire — Loon Mountain will run into summer on Saturday, June 24, with the New England Mountain Running Championships. Runners from all around New England will compete in a 6-mile up-hill battle to qualify for the U.S. Mountain Running Championships held at the renowned Mount Washington.

Loon Mountain will be open daily for activities starting Saturday, June 24, from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM. In addition to the 7,000 ft-long gondola skyride, glacial caves, mountain biking and climbing walls, Loon has a great lineup of events, entertainment and fun for all that includes:

July 1 - 2- Gelatin Jam
Loon Mountain hosts the third annual Gelatin Jam. Kids and
kids at heart can participate in wild and crazy games with America's favorite desert.

August 5- Hot Dog Festival
If you like hot dogs you don't want to miss the Hot Dog Festival at Loon Mountain. Food, fun and games are what this day is about.

September 2-Ice Cream Festival
Celebrate the end of summer at Loon Mountain with free ice cream, games and entertainment. For those who have a sweet tooth for ice cream, this is an event you do not want to miss!

September 22 - 24- 31st Annual New Hampshire Highland Games Returns to Loon

Loon Mountain will once again host the largest Scottish Festival in the Northeast with the 31st annual New Hampshire Highland Games and feature the best entertainers from Scotland, Canada and the US. Twenty pipe bands from Canada and the United States will play and guests can also take seminars in whiskey tasting and Scottish history.

October 7 - 8- Oktoberfest
Celebrate the arrival of autumn and the traditions of the world-famous festival at Loon Mountain. The weekend will feature a live oompah band, traditional German fare and hearty beer.
