well, this wasn't quite a skiing or a hiking trip. so i am sticking it here. mods can duke it out :argue: for where it technically should go which isn't my concern ;)

my girlfriend's mom was up for the weekend to see the foliage. i thought it would be a cool idea to give the single chair a ride to the top of stark mountain. my girlfriend will be getting on skis this season for the second time in her life (first time in a long long time!) so i enjoy showing her historical and traditional aspects of the sport that i really enjoy. plus i just love riding the single chair, woo! picked up my mad card while we were picking up tickets and away we went!

chair was running at about half speed to allow safe boarding and unloading. also allowed for more time on the chair which was nice! colors still are not quite there, but are starting to pop. either next weekend or the weekend after will be your best shots if you are looking to head north for some color. currently, very few reds, some orange, and still plenty of green. generally, the colors are not too vibrant or bright yet but getting there. the best leaves were around the sunnyside area for which the single chair provides excellent over head viewing. well, enough of that... here's the pics! :D

I'll be looking for a place to take my cousins from Texas on the 23rd. HA, maybe K-mart will have snow! Mary has never seen snow.

Great Pics RC. Thanks.
