Felt the need to go snowboarding and I've been wanting to go up to Magic this season so plunked for that. Had a very hard time getting out of bed on Sunday so got a bit of a late start. Arrived around 10am. Picked up my super cheap ticket and head out to the slopes.
Red chair looks great, got close but didn't get to ride my chair (#80) though. Obviously Magic is hurting from the lack of snow this season, but the cruisers were in great condition. Although Magic has some great expert trails the cruisers are also really fun. Wizard is a great run, show off was great once the racers were done especially cutting over to kinderspiel.
My favourite runs of the day were cutting down to the lower red line and catching some of the fresh snow. Think I saw the Save Magic crew heading down there at one point behind me.
The vibe at Magic is just so great though. No a-holes, just people having fun. Heard what sounded like a game of G.N.A.R going on too.
I managed to have my phone pop out of my jacket around lunchtime. Was so angry at myself I was ready to go home. Went to ask if anyone had handed it in hoping for the slim chance someone had....turned out that some kind person had indeed picked my phone up and handed it in!
