I have a friend who is going to get married on the summit of Little Whiteface. He and his bride are taking the gondi up and exchanging vows right there. Anyone here ever do it, attended one or considered it?

I wish I did, that would have been way cooler than our traditional wedding. I wasn't really skiing back then and my wife wasn't a skier yet at all, so that's one reason that we didn't.

Well if I ever find that special someone I'd want to get married at a ski area..and also go on a ski trip for the honeymoon..I think it's a cool idea but it doesn't happen much because most weddings are in the summer..to me getting married on a ski slope would be alot more romantic/memorable then at some random church or drive through chapel in Vegas..

I attended a friends' wedding on the summit of Whiteface. The bride and groom drove up, got ready at the castle, and took the elevator to the top with their parents; however, most of the attendees hiked the entire way. The ceremony was on the patio around the weather station.
