The trees at Sierra at tahoe are probably the finest I've ever skied I'm hoping they get a handle on things. Also kirkwood holds a special place with me and it looks close.

I agree and still can't find anything about any damage to the resort. I've got to believe that some of the lift have been damaged. They apparently turned on the fan guns and pointed them towards all the building to try and save them.

The place only has snow guns on a couple trails near the base. The rest if the mountain is natural

Yes, I was watching an interview this morning with the GM and they used the mobile fan guns around the lodge.

Summit of Sierra at Tahoe is on fire. These pics were all taken last night, cam in on top of the Tahoe lift. Fire also jumped 88 and is now within a mile of Kirkwood.

Some sad pictures in a lift ops and groomers FB page I follow this morning of one of Sierra at Tahoe's mountain ops buildings burned to the ground, and apparently a few of their cats and other general bits of equipment were in the building along with a bunch of various containers of petroleum based products that they use in their cats/etc.

Fire jump Route 89 and is now entering southeast corner of Meyers.
