Mittersill

We're coming up next week. Hitting Cannon on Monday. Anyone know how the conditions over at Mittersill are? Is it worth the hike up? I've read where things got pretty nasty last week with a hard freeze after warm temps. Don't know if the other day's Nor'easter dumped enough to help out.

Never tried it but I'm thinking about giving it a shot.

It was pretty decent over there today. There was a bit of a crust deeper down, but fresh on top, skied fine. It looks like some nasty weather coming in this weekend which could wreck it though.

If I'm not sure Mittersill is going to be powdery, I usually test conditions by skiing the Hardscrabbles. If the Hardscrablles are skiable then I'll hike the Taft to Mittersill.

Yes it was pretty good yesterday but as mentioned watch this weather.
