Mohawk - 3.30.13

Customer Appreciation Day @ Mohawk = Free ticket.

Parking lot was PACKED! cars lined the driveway back up to the road.

Despite the crowded lot the slopes and lift lines were not bad. Waited 5 minutes for the first chair of the day then noticed they had a single line which i hit the rest of the afternoon and didn't wait at all.

Snow was soft and fun. Sun was shining. Coverage on the mountain was great, 100% open. Some bare spots but fantastic for end of March in CT.

i was king of hoping there'd be some bumps on wildwood so i was a little disappointed but i decided my game plan for the day was to hit every trail starting left to right. i did that then when back and skied a few i liked over again. top of Mohawk was really fun, plenty of soft snow on the sides and enough "slush" towards that bottom that even my lame skills could fake a carved turn.

They groomed after the march thaw, then never let it bump up again. I had hoped they would have.
