MOUNT SNOW, Vermont -- Frosty the SnowJAM took place on Saturday, January 2nd 2010 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. All of the event proceeds, over $600, benefited the Twin Valley High School Snowboard Team.
The competition was composed of all age skiers and snowboarders, some brand new to competing and others were seasoned veterans. Prizes were distributed during the event, awarding competitors for tricks that incorporated creativity, style, innovation, or commitment. The prizes were donated by generous sponsors including Smith, Vans, Rossignol, Dakine and the Winter Dew Tour. The judges included coaches from the Mount Snow Training Center, Ski and Snowboard School and Marketing Department. The event incorporated competition ideas, community service goals, and the immersion of skiers and riders from the local area and out of staters.
