Date(s) Skied: 1/1/10 - Happy New Year!

Resort or Ski Area: Mount Sunapee

Conditions: packed pow, little bit of pow, scraped off hard pack

Trip Report: back to Sunapee today for an afternoon session. Weather + conditions pretty much like yesterday, perhaps a little more fresh snow.

Overall good day. Parking lot was packed but lodge + lift lines were not too bad. Skied no particular area just back and forth on the mountain. found some decent snow in the sunbowl.

tested out the helmet cam again, will review and post if anything good came out of it.

tried working out kinks with new helment cam this week.. harder than i thought. bad angle but good mount was my first attempt. then found a way to mount it that gave a good angle but the camera bounced too much. will keep playing and hopefully catch something good soon.

here is a quick dip into the woods

:snow: Thanks for the update !! The next step is to figure out how to get up there without getting into trouble.

Oh yeah!

I was there with my family from 2-4 yesterday. No bumps at 4 so they must have been busting ass last night. Upper Cataract??? That's something different. Could be good though. I believe the fall line is more direct than Lift Line.

Noticed that my wife (8" shorter than me) has longer poles than me. So I stole my daughters 38" poles for some flats drills. That doesn't make any sense.....but it was rad.

:smash: :smash:

My daughter and I was skiing bretton woods a couple of days ago. We traded ski poles, both around 44 inches but she has a thicker handle. The area was cold and windy after the snow dump and she had to put hand warmers in her mitts, so narrow handles made sense for her.

btw, not sure how the moguls at upper cataract will play out. that run won't get much action given where it is so it can get firm fast.
