Well, the DOD is considering a proposal that will allow a private company to build an army themed amusement park named ARMY WORLD.  Good to see that the military has its priorities set straight. Now we need an "AlpineZone" theme park.

The article from CNN.

I thought it was the mountains of New England :p

True.....guess I should have thought of that...

And I think we should offer a bonus to the first person to write a trip report on their visit to ARMY WORLD (if it comes about).

Wonder if it'll have "live round" obstacle courses...i'd like to try my very own "Officer and a Gentleman" remake.....

My Mom always told me if I had nothing good to say to just say nothing at all.

There's nothing about this proposal that I like, especially if the bars end up being anything like the ones in Jacksonville, NC (which I realize is a Marine base, but when it comes down to it, an 18 year old with a gun is the same, no matter the uniform).

Wil the Army get licensing fees? If so, that could pay for some HMMV armor, I bet.

I think it was the stunt at the cliff that really did it.

I told you not to let the monkeys pack the parachutes. Just because they're not flinging poo doesn't mean they're working, you know.
