I posted this in the back country responsibility thread, but wanted to elaborate.....

This movie follows the JHAF on through the silent beginnings until today where they have a good relationship with the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol, which was not always the case.

This is a movie that you'll want to watch twice.......or more.
Absolutely worth the price of admission, or DVD.......get your popcorn ready

I just watched the movie put out by the Jackson Hole Air Force - Swift Silent Deep.
This brings a whole new element to back country responsibility.
If there is a movie that ranks high in my ski porn reviews along with Edge of Never, its this one.....

Its one of the best ski movies ever made...there's plenty of great action footage to keep you pumped but you also get a great history lesson on Jackson Hole, the JHAF, Pepi Steigler, Doug Coombs, and the evolution of lift serviced backcountry and the roots of the AK heli industry. I was lucky enough to see the premiere in Jackson last winter along with the staff of Powder, representatives from every ski company in the business, and pro skiers like Chris Davenport, CR Johnson, and Matt Sterbenz...everyone in the room learned something new about our shared passion and was completely stoked to go out and dive into Jackson Hole and the surrounding backcountry the next day. Go see it the first chance you get or buy a copy online...its a must see for anyone who slides down hills on snow.
