Anyone from this area know the conditions? Is there enough snow? Was thinking about driving from Boston on Sunday and earning some terms and trying out another "lost ski area". Did Hogback last weekend and had a blast. Thanks!

I'm not Mt Agamenticus expert, but when I have mountain biked there many of the former ski trails were blocked with fencing perhaps to keep the biked from going down hill and causing erosion.

I'll be in South Berwick later today and will report back on snow depth. I live about 25 minutes away from the Big A and have 0 to 6 on the ground outside my condo.

I'm in the same town as DHS...we lost a lot of snow on Tue and Wed...I wouldn't think Mt A would be worth the drive. You'll want to head further north.

Look up Evergreen Valley on nelsap, I had fun skiing that a few years ago. Big A needs a pretty big base to be any good, I remember doing it after a really big storm and still hitting rocks.

snow depths in south berwick today ranged from 0 to probably 10 in places, though there were a lot more 0 than 10 inch areas. So, I'd say the Big A is pretty unskiable right now, unless you're Austin.
