Another fantastic quality day this season. I don’t know what all the bitchins’ about………

Skied 9:00am – 2:00pm

Snow showers, white outs, fog, sleet, sun, wind, you get it………

3-4” of WET snow that skied like a foot………This freeze-up will really serve as a great base for any future snow. Please no warm-up. The whole hill is blanketed
.
Not a lot open. This weekend is going to be a zoo. Gonna have to resurface what’s open on the main face. I hear they’re grooming out Freefall tonight and will crank the guns again on Chute to get that open and skied –in.

Liked the Bluebird. Can’t put your poles under the legs though, or over the back of the chair.
You’re in a high back sofa. I never knew what to do with my poles.

My pictures never come out that good in these bad weather situations, but I’ll try to get the feel across with a few:

I let these two patrollers go first.......pristine blanket!

I got to track fresh lines on my first four runs. Were only a few of us on Freefall for that first hour!

Then all the little people came out and ruined everything...............

Visibility was a challange to overcome at times.

Even the front face (all three trails) had some chowder

Does appear to be wearing thin though

The whole hill is blanketed nicely. Let's hope it stays cold.

Sweet ride

Great TR! I talked to a neighbor tonight; and their daughter skied today. Sounds like you both had the same experience. Rumor has it, all the fan guns are lit up tonight. Fingers crossed for tomrrow.

Reefer buddy! Nice picts, they came out well. I haven't made it out yet, bummer.

Judging from the webcam all of Canyon has the fan guns on (can see the lights), looks like they need em. Having chute open will be clutch too. I bet this weekend is gonna be a mob scene.
