New England Forest Rally
July 17-18, 2009

Catch the Action!

Three-time and reigning Rally America National Champion Travis Pastrana and his Subaru Rally Team USA (SRT USA) teammate Ken Block are scheduled to compete in Round 6 of the championship series, the New England Forest Rally, on July 17-18, 2009 in and around Bethel, ME. Joining the team driver line-up this year is BMX Freestyle pioneer and legend Dave Mirra.

Piloting rally cars closely based on the 2009 WRX STI, the SRT USA drivers are eagerly looking forward to these unique rally stages. Each Subaru Rally Team USA rally car is meticulously prepared by technical partner Vermont SportsCar and a product of rigorous off-road racing.

Three-time national (2006-2008) and reigning champion Travis Pastrana returns with Subaru teammate Ken Block to compete in this challenging event. Come out and cheer on SRT USA as teammates vie for the overall win at the New England Forest Rally!

This event is free and open to the public incorporating spectator areas at select rally stages.

I love watching rally cars and their drivers do their thing. I've never been to a live event though, seems like it wouldn't be all that fun to watch in person..

Might be worth it for me to go just to see this thing in action:

I love the old Rabbits, the fact that it's running on used cooking oil just makes it that much cooler.
