It's a great organization with a great mission. Several events are sponsored by NESM each year. The highlight is the Hannes Schneider Meister Cup Race at Cranmore in March. It is a weekend filled with events.

Right now, Hannes Schneider is the featured exhibit at the museum. Be sure to visit the museum to see this great exhibit. Take a walk back into ski history.

Help preserve Ski History...join the museum.

BTW - this is NOT an ad. I am a member of Alpine Zone and have been as a while. Many of you know I am a ski history fan and have seen my website. I would like to see more support for this great organization.

I really need to visit the museum one of these days. I've ridden the Cannon tram many times and looked down onto it, but never went in...

Thanks for the reminder.

members receive the journal. i am fond of saying the journal is worth more than the relatively low membership cost alone. let alone supporting the foremost historical non-profit organization in the north east, a worthy organization to support for any dedicated snow sport enthusiast.

well writen historical stories and photos. they highlight a lot of the major and minor events in new england ski history and feature some great autobiographical info on the fathers of the new england sport. most recently, CCC trails were featured.

Yes, Steve is right, the journals are great! They cover many aspects of North American Skiing. I have quite a few, they are well worth saving.

I look forward to the journal. It is usually a very good read. In addition the staff is friendly and they love visitors. We go there at least every six months and have been members for several years.
