So I was just listening to NPR and there was talk about what will be on TV this fall. Well, for the AZ TV Network, how about a show called "The Skiing Apprentice" in which we select some posters to work with a "celebrity ski resort manager/owner" for a season. The winner gets to be "hired" as for the next season. Obviously it would feature tasks and tests that are similar to:

This would be perfect for all of the armchair ski area managers that we have here  So now you would get to decide when to blow snow, when and what to groom, how to market the ski area, etc.

So two questions:

1. Who would you have be the Donald Trump, or the "Resort Celebrity?" Preferably someone who has experience and has done really well.

2. And which AZer's would you select? Let's say ten.

As for my suggestions...I think that Jay Peak's Bill Stenger, Pats Peak's Kris Blombach, and Sugarbush Owner Win Smith are my nominees for the "Boss." Maybe we should have asked each of them to give us their best, "you're fired" impersonation.

Let's have the boss be someone from Killington so someone on here can turn the place around.
