New Skis

Got my new skis today! Yipee! The countdown has begun.

Found a pair of K2 "Backlash" skis on line for $413.00

Like the dual cap/sandwich construction. Had a pr of Rossi 9S's with that type of construction. Was probably the quickest ski I've ever owned.

These are a little wider, and should be a little beefier than my K2 Shuksan's that I'm on now.

Not sure what I'll mount them with. Another pair of Fritsche's or something else?

Good find! I just got 2 new pairs for next year. Blizzard magnum 8.1's and salomon lord twin tips. The salomons are a moderately rockered ski that skis more like an all mountain than a true twintip or powder ski. It's the funnest ski I have ever tried. These are fun in groomers, bumps, slop, powder, hardpack......Really nice skis. I am fortunate to be a ski patroler and can demo skis free whenever I choose. I tried dozens of pairs last season. These were hands down the best ski I have had the privilege of using. If you want a fun do it all type of ski, this is the one. I ski 120 plus days a year and i'll guess i'll ski these 100 of them next season.
