So Ive got Christmas cash burning a hole in my wallet and a freshly tuned board. Is it worth the 40 bucks in gas to head up to Cannon tomorrow? Its been real cold so snow has been made, theyve been getting off and on flurries for a couple inches all week, and should open up Garys and Rocket on the front five. That being said on Wednesday it was a skating rink on boilerplate by 1130 due to all the holiday traffic on only 12 trails. Worth it? Thoughts?

It was a skating rink yesterday too. You just have to avoid the middle of the trail. The edges of almost every trail were nice. So I would say that it will basically be the same as wednesday. I actually heard a few people saying that wednesday was actually better than yesterday. I still had fun though...

Were they still blowing a ton of snow on profile (the trail that the summit lift goes up)? They looked like they could use a little more coverage and it would be ready. Id love to have some expert terrain open.

My thoughts exactly. I'm trying not to get too depressed with this season. Travel will help this. I'm willing to go wherever and whenever to get some turns in.

Was just there today. It was solid, especially in the morning obviously. Rocket and Garys will be open for 8:30 tomorrow (just missed it today). Profile won't be open, they werent blowing on it today anyways. Get there early and it should be real good....definitly got very icy this afternoon.....but should be a good time regardless.

1-3 inches of new snow tomorrow too
