I wonder what they intended to do if they caught it?

But it is nice to see they didn't shoot it like they did that bear earlier this year.

We had a bear in the Southbury area. It was spotted about 1/2 mile from our house. My wife spotted him while out training for her 1/2 marathon. She was about 20 yards from the little bugger. He was relocated once and then showed up again about a week later. The paper stated that he was an "amiable" bear.

My mother-in-law saw a bear coming up her drive-way in Torrington the other night. Freaked her out a bit. It was scared away when she accidentally knocked into something and made a noise...
