Is that snowmaker college talk meaning they gum/freeze up more often? :wink: That's one of the top reasons most of the snowmakers I know aren't big fans, no pun intended, of the e-guns. Dr Jeff hit the nail on the head, many forward thinking resorts already use them. Green is good for more than just the marketing factor tho.

E-guns are not on any billboards, that I know of, but have sure seen them for the resorts with all the fan guns. I don't how many e-guns are at the Bush but I know how many fan guns are at Mt Snow and Attitash. :wink: :lol:

Actually, sublimation refers to the droplet skipping a state of matter. i.e., the particle is small, it freezes fast, then immediately changes from solid to gas before hitting the ground (note that it skipped the interim stage after freezing: liquid).


But yeah, they freeze up more often too! :wink:
