So after driving up to Quebec and back last weekend I want to hit VT for some powder but don;t want to drive 5 hours to Jay or even 4.5 to Sugarbush. Will Killington get enough snow to be worthwhile? Someone mentioned Whiteface but that is also too far...Gore? Burke? Could this, should this finally be the day I ski Burke?

In the catskills Platty ia great for powder days.

Most are making a call of 2" to 4", which just isnt good enough when others are getting 8" to 12". BUT, if you go to Intellicast they have an 8" bullseye encircling Plattekill, so I'm hoping they're the ones that are right!

Well drive time to Plattekill is like half of Burke so if they do get 8" I will be there. Plus I've never skied Plattekill either.

As of now, the plan is Pico on Saturday, Killington on Sunday. Hopefully Pico will stay uncrowded.

I ended up calling a friend who was going to Stowe so I tagged along. Glad I did because there was a lot of snow!
