Vermont trip with the Camelback Crew. 1st stop Okemo. I had never been to the new Jackson Gore area but was very impressed. Like this access to the mountain much more then the main base area which I have never really liked. Okemo of course is groomer city but after a few runs a JG went over and enjoyed the sun on South Face. Pretty much worked our way back toward JG hitting stuff off of Northstar Express and Solitude Express. We found some icy bumps on Ledges but it wasn't till we were crossing back to JG that we found a sweetly bumped up Upper Limelight. Hit that several times after lunch along with several t2b runs on the main face. A beautiful blue bird day and a nice start to the week. I come away with a little better opinion of Okemo then I had before mostly due to Jackson Gore. Tomorrow Stratton.

I'm thinking you're hearing this less this season. if there was no grooming/snowmaking there wouldn't be much skiing given the lack of cooperation from Ma nature.
