Thanks for everyone's help.

I actually had my weeks wrong. It will be the following weekend, for turkey day.So thinking thursday or friday till sat or sunday.

Since it looks like there may be a place or two open in the poconos by then, may be leaning towards that, and saving the big mountains for when they are mostly fully open.

Smuggs for $28 does not seem worth it considering they don't have much of a snowmaking system..I might have to check out liftopia..

Hey guys, we (Liftopia) should also hopefully be adding some more deals for Turkey Day. Let me know if you have specific questions, hopefully I can be helpful. THanks for the patience while we try and get resorts up and loaded...

That would be my thought. Even during the ASC years, K and SR would have similar starts and Okemo would regularly have more mileage open than anyone in New England during a typical year.

For sure..I might hit Okemo up for a day on Thanksgiving weekend for that very reason. Early season I don't need burly terrain unless it dumps 2 feet and then Stowe or the MRV is a no brainer..

Don't bet your mortgage on it. Depending on how much gun time they get this week Mount Snow could open Saturday with more miles than Killington.

Go to Killington. Hate to be a Shill and all, but K will have the most open terrain in the east and it will be very good conditions with the cold weather forecasted through the week. Also, you cant beat the nightlife. Every business will be open for this coming weekend, with bands playing nightly. Check out the Happy Bear Motel on the access road for a good deal on lodging.
