HENNIKER, New Hampshire — Pats Peak invites adults to join a Ski/Snowboard Clinic –the most cost effective way to learn with lots of attention on individual development. Pats Peak Ski Clinics have a maximum of 10 adults to ensure everyone in the group has individual time with the instructor. The program is offered one day a week for seven weeks, and the cost is $180 for beginner to mid-level skiers and $130 for advanced skiers. Start time is 10:00 am.
After a morning on the slopes, members of the group relax with their instructor and enjoy a healthy lunch buffet.
"We find the clinics are very popular among mothers with school ages children and retirees, allowing them to get out on the slopes at least once a week improving their ability and endurance", says Bertie Holland, ski school director.
New this season, is WOW – Women's Only Wednesday – Ski/Snowboard Clinic. Women start the day off by enjoying a continental breakfast and an exciting morning discussion designed specifically for women. Discussion topics include: skiing/snowboarding fears and risk factors, strength & power, stance and balance, physical and psychological gender differences, confidence building, yoga exercises, skiing/riding exercises, nutrition, equipment and boot fitting, and video analysis to enhance basic skills and improve personal skiing/snowboarding. After discussions, participants head out onto the slopes for on-hill clinics taught by women only. The day ends with a delicious lunch with instructors, allowing students and instructors to discuss their morning on the slopes. The cost is only $250 for a full seven-week program, lift, lessons, morning discussions, continental breakfast and lunch.
Kids Programs are available for children whose parent(s) are participating in the Adult Ski/Snowboard Clinics.
