No doubt a bunch of you have heard this but I hadn't. I think it's really good. Howard Stern randomly played a track from it the other day called "Ooo You" so I started listening on Rhapsody and the album sucks you in. It's very stripped down...he played every instument. There's a couple of tunes everyone knows but alot of hidden gems in here.

Agreed. I used to listen to this album a lot, when albums were made of vinyl. It was recorded during the Beatles' sad breakup, after which everyone was curious to see what direction each member would go. I like the entire album but my favorite song is "Every Night." If I didn't know better I'd think that "Teddy Boy" was a Beatles song, as it's very similar to their work around the time of Abbey Road and Let It Be. It almost sounds like Linda was mimicking John on the backup vocals. McCartney released a second "solo" album with Linda called Ram which in spots presaged the sound of his next band, Wings.
