I saw this today on Sundown's website:

We've frozen our season pass prices for the 2010-2011 season! Plus if you order your 2010-2011 season passes by April 30, 2010, you can take advantage of our "4 Easy Payment Plan". How cool is that?!! Call our Welcome Center at 860-379-7669 X 211 or 216 for details!

Very cool! Nice way to make it budget-friendly, too, in that you can make payments.

I don't anticipate Ragged making their announcement on pass prices until the Spear Mountain High Speed Quad plans are final or not.

The pass was a STEAL this season at $329. New Quad or not, I certainly expect the price to go up.

Camelback started this last year. I don't know how cool it is for them to be holding your money all summer. I never checked to see if people who bought later did or didn't get the same price as we did.

It all depends. If it helps you budget out putting aside the money for the pass, it's all good. No finance charge like a credit card. Pass prices do go up later in the year, so you get the early price this way.

With the mountain being 15 minutes from my house I'll be buying Hidden Valley passes for my son and I again. Unlimited passes are on sale through 3/31 for $249 for adults and $229 for juniors, about $60 less per pass than I paid for this season. So I got just over a month to pull the trigger.
