Plattekill - 2/22/09

Trip Report:

My sister and I headed up to Plattekill for the day yesterday. We were tempted by the Potter Brothers flex day at Belleayre, but we stuck to our guns, drove the extra half hour, and were rewarded with an epic day. Wow. I love this place.

They had received a few feet of snow over the last few days, with a solid 3-4 inches of fresh that morning. This snow report captured it well:

Boot deep untracked in the trees, with plenty of lines to be had all day:

Solid coverage, even on the bushy Blockbuster:

yea must have been the place to be on sunday.. conditions were epic on friday i cant even imagine what another 8" was like up there..
