After staying inside all day Saturday watching the 12 Hours of Sebring (for those who don't know its a major sports car race in the American Le Mans Series) I needed to get outside and get some turns in Sunday. Got ticket from liftopia which cost $49 including a $10 food voucher. I slept in late till 8:30 so after the roughly 2 hour drive I got to the mountain at 10:30. I ended up not missing much by being late as the whole mountain was pretty firm in the morning. So the morning was mostly groomers as things slowly softened up.
In the afternoon I ventured into some of the natural trails which are really starting to show bare spots. The top of sweepstakes and cabin fever only had some narrow paths of snow around the bare spots. The ravine is still skiable but not all of it, top of rags to riches is done, and pels pass should have been closed. Not too shabby and miss behavin are still well covered but you have to take the lower entrance off spear. Birches and reggae glades are still in good shape. Lots of branches down everywhere in the glades. Not everything softened up as much as I would have liked, but it ended up being a fun day in the sun.
