Now, compared to Tenny, Ragged's web site looks downright exciting. Nice slide show showing infrastructure improvements, new cats, lodge improvements, lift maintenance, most especially snowmaking pipes, snowmaking pond.

The few pictures of the golf course could only coax a "ho-hum" out of me. :)

Bravo new owners. It will be interesting to see their marketing plan.

during our vacation in middle of August, we were visiting the Polar Caves and stopped over to see what was up at ragged - from what I could l see from driving around the parking lot, not much. looked like a chairlift sitting to the left of the lodge was being worked on - new cable maybe. what I assume was the snow making pond was drained - nobody seemed to be around although it was late afternoon.

It's fairly normal practice for ski areas to not start much work until Late-August/September.

From the pics, the work is going well...nice to see.
