Silvio --- Very playful, great opener. Jammed in Tequila got the crowd going. The reprise was great too.
Playin' >Tomorrow>Salt Lake--- Standard Bobby jammin. Nice and tight. Bobby's voice is right on spot tonight. Tomorrow sounded real nice.
LLR -- Phenomenal! Old School Bobby!!!!!!! Sounded wonderful.
Aiko -- Nice and tight. Rob Baracco didn't get all twisty and spacey as I've seen him do numerous times. He was a great sit in.
Bobby McGee and Victim on Accoustic was a real treat. Real nice/mellow crowd was really into it.
He's Gone -- Another Jerry tune!!!! Done quite well, I may add. How can anyone dislike this song?
Jam -- Started teasing Other One ... but alas no such luck.
Dear Prudence -- I'VE NEVER HEARD RATDOG SOUND SO GOOD!!!!!
Corina -- Real technical, tight and Jazzy. Great percussion. One of the best I've ever heard.
Rider -- Not bad. They teased China Cat Sunflower then kina stumbled into Rider. I would have loved to have heard a pounding China>Rider, but the Rider standing alone will do just fine.
Encore: Black Muddy River -- really sweet and touching. I couldn't stop thinking that this was Jerry's last encore at Soldiers. Bobby did it justice.
Great show at one of my favorite venues. Crowd was real mellow and cool. My buddy and I had a serendipitous moment with the guy who sat next to us. Turns out, he's from the same town as us and went to school with my pal's sister. These things alway happen at a show. I may see him again tomorrow at Westbury Music Theater. It's a small theater with a rotating stage. Even more intimate than the Beacon!!!!!!!
Was my "Trip" report everything that you expected ChileMass?
