No doubt good boot fitters has been dealt with on this forum before, forgive me, I am new. I am looking for a recommendation for a good boot fitter who knows how to work with Strolz custom fitted boots in the New York tri state area. Anyone able to recommend someone out there?

I got wide feet and had my boots blown out and got custom footbeds from Greg at Heino's Ski and Cycle in NJ. He did a great job, my feet never hurt and my boots fit like a glove. Best thing I ever did for my skiing. I don't know about Strolz but you can ask.

call strands in worcester, MA and ask them if there is a Strolz dealer closer to you. a good bootfitter can work on any boot, but a Strolz is fairly unique and specialized, you'd be best served by finding a dealer who has spare parts, is familiar with their foaming process, shells, etc. they make the best foam liner in the business...someone who's worked with them will be able to buy you a little extra room without messing up the fit.

The Basin Ski Shop at Killington is a Strolz dealer. Ray Garrett is an excellent boot fitter.

The ZZ Top guys at Strands in Worcester are a Strolz dealer and they've been at boot fitting for decades.
