I just watched the 2008 reunion DVD from Montreaux. IMHO, there are few if any other bands that can match up to the virtuosity of each of the RTF members. Stanley Clarke's bass lines are inhuman. Al Dimeola covers more ground than most guitar players and rips! Lenny rockin' the beat and the master behind the keys, Chick.

Anyone else into RTF?

Total agreement although its too bad Al isn't still with them. Saw them over the summer and Gambale kinda stayed in the background, with Jean Luc Ponty acting like the lead guitar more than him.

Can't describe the amazing work of Stanley though. He definitely stole the show.

I did see that thread last summer. I commented....but never saw the show. I am a big Jean-Luc fan, saw him a few times over the years. You never did a show review!
