Hey...hope people don't think this is spam..because that is not my intention. I am sold out on tickets to Jay Peak and Sugarbush unless people subscribe to my service. However, if you want ticket(s) to Mad River Glen for $25 !! or to Whistler...you can call my assistant at 802-6352693 or e-mail me at Drskiweather.col.com - I only have a few left. How about Bruce Springstein front row Boston for $35---just kidding.

3-6" Jay/Stowe tomorrow but near unbearable cold Sunday...big warm up after Monday next week....woods should be good with more wind blown snow tomorrow/tomorrow night...but conditions overall will be nice everywhere..just not the 1-2 feet of powder that Snowbird and B.C. keeps getting.

Hey Jim. What's the long range looking like, for New Hampshire, specifically? I'm heading to Loon for 5 nights on the 22nd. Any thoughts on what to expect weather-wise?

When Weatherskicat joined the board, I was hopeful of the interaction to come because he is such a well-respected weather forecaster. But it appears he never responds to posts--he only creates new topics. And ultimately it looks like he's here for the most part to promote his site. No disrespect intended, just the facts as I see them.

As a subscriber and email alert fan, I'd have to agree that from your perspective it would seem so. But he looks very busy with all the email stuff that goes out frequently. I'm not sure how much time I would have to dumb down or edit posts for free consumption to a board like this.

However, random weather thread conversation might be nice. Like how to read some of these graphs we get would be nice. Or where to get them.

I can answer wather questions if you guys have any. I do have three years of Meteorology under my belt, so post the questions or Private Message me, and I will do my best. No guarantees, but anything helps right?

Okay, I'll bite - what's your forecast for Lincoln, NH this weekend? Next week? I'm heading up on Sunday to ski Monday - Thursday at Loon and from the reports I've seen, it looks like snow ending Sunday which should set up for a great week. Any specific snow total predictions for that area?

you'll bite? It wasn't a trap greg..hahah

Here is my best effort for you. Should I have you sign a waiver if I get this wrong?

Looks like some precip starting late tonight continuing into tomorrow. Will be light at first, with snow, and possibly some sleet mixing in. However, it looks like a coastal will form in the gulf of maine which will throw some accumulating snow back into NH and Maine, turning all precip back to all snow and it could pile up quickly. There is a Winter Storm Watch out for this possibility, so be aware. The rest of the week looks seasonable which will keep the snow in great shape. There may be another coastal mid-week but its too far out for specifics. Its a juicy storm but does it make it this far north? Nice cold high pressure in Canada waiting for it...we shall see. Stay tuned.

You could see accumulations by Monday a.m. in Loon of 6-10. Im thinking this right now because snow to water ratio looks low. If it were colder, a foot plus would be possible. Watch the wind Sunday a.m.

Provided it's not rain at Loon, I'm happy with any amount of snow!

well, while it won't rain up at Loon, i do not expect 10 inch amounts anymore. This storm, like many this year, just fizzles out. Lets see what happens when the upper level energy makes its way over here and how much moisture the secondary can throw back in, but its not looking so good. Sorry Greg and others.
