for $20 is this something worth keeping in my ski bag for a quick tune up on days when faced with hard pack conditions?

Toko Ergo Speed Diamond:
The Toko Ergo Speed Diamond is the perfect little tool for grinding out your edges on the go. The circular diamond wheel rotates within the plastic guide to ensure you use every bit of abrasive surface, and the guide itself flips from 88 to 89 degrees for 1 or 2 degree side bevels.

Sure, if you have a 1 or 2 degree side bevel; my understanding is that Toko makes decent stuff. Not so helpful for those of us with a 0 degree side bevel, though.

So many of those basic tuning tools are useless for bump skis.

good point.. googling "noridica afterburner bevel" didn't show a quick answer to what degree bevel my skis should have. will have to spend time later looking for more detail.
