Conditions: LG / Hard Pack
Trip Report: Quick night trip to Shawnee Peak. Shawnee has done a great job getting terrain open. They had most of their night trails going. Coverage was good. Middle of most trails was scraped off but plenty of loose snow on the sides. Lower Kangamangus offered the best snow as they recently made snow on it.
I actually responded to a mid-day email advertising the night skiing. 16 bucks - can't beat that. We skied 4-7:30 and it felt like our money's worth. Only slight problem with night skiing is it brings out the teen / young adult crowd that seem to go way to fast when there are folks on the trail. No biggie just have to stay on your toes.
Great job Shawnee!
