Thought my season was over but now considering going up to wildcat on a day trip sunday. Will be going with my son and do not want to ski with excessive bare spots or rocks.

I'm a little hesitant because I'm not sure of the "real" conditions - sounds good on the wildcat web site but...

Can anyone help out with additional first/second hand information. thanks.

im not sure, im going to go tuesday anyway, there is probably bare spots but main trails like catapult polecat, wildcat and maybe lynx still should have good coverage.

Well, I went and had the best day of spring skiing in memory. the base around the super quad was water/soft ice/slush/ grass by quitting time but the upper mountain has tons of snow and the bumps by noon were perfect. my recommendation would ski the right side (looking up) wildcat, catapult, liftline all have tons of snow. lync was good ( a few bare spots) & pole cat was great for cruising. it was just a fantastic day, perfect. tons of people at tuckermans too. have fun.

Thanks for the report. Heading up Thursday for a day at Tucks on Friday and Wildcat on Saturday. Probably my last days of the season. The final total will be 51 days when all is said and done.

wildcat was awsome today, will defently be sketchy around the base though on saterday... they will probably push some snow down and make one thin path
