Got this from my co-worker. Looks pretty good. Almost all the way to the bottom is a specific Ski-prep quad exercise.

Enjoy.

I'm 4-weeks post-op from bilatteral hernia operation. I've got two more weeks to go before I can work on the core. So far I'm just hitting the eliptical to get the cardio. I'll have 8 or 9 weeks before race league.

I should be ok so long as nothing goes "wrong".

I like this advice:

"Leg workouts simply have to be brutal to be effective," said Arnold Schwarzenegger.

and

"Expect to get quite nauseated," says Charles Poliquin

I've been working on conditioning this summer and had good progress for a couple months, but feel like I'm starting to hit a wall.

I can't say I've been brutal or gotten quite nauseated yet. Gives me something to shoot for!

Sounds fun.:-( I hope my trainer/rehab drill sergeant does not find this.

Excellent and thank you. I tore a calf tendon in early August and am working my way back for the ski season. Good luck with your rehab.

20 minutes on the stairmaster as a brisk pace, 4 miles of rollerbalding in my neighorhood(downhill - knees bent and turning, uphill - nice long strides), weights and core exercises. I have dropped 4-5 pounds in 2 weeks.

I'm doing P90X

I just started it 2 days ago...... Holy shit is it tough, and I am in pretty good shape to begin with. The back & chest work out almost made me cry. Did the plyometric work out last night, that's really going to get the legs in top skiing shape. I have arms & shoulders tonight, not looking forward to it, I am still sore from chest & back day

I tried the ISO one leg squat and skit squat at the gym the last two days. The ski squat is tough. I've been doing it while holding a 30 lb dumbbell in each hand.

I'm kicking up the running and doing more cross training on the in between days. I slacked for the last month and a half due to school but it's time to buckle down again. Really need to get some leg stuff in if for no other reason than my knee is weak again and will be problematic, but I need to do that anyway for running.
